Meerkats move in at Zurich enclosure

The meerkats have moved in, at the new Zurich enclosure.

The team around Prof. Marta Manser at Zurich University, Switzerland, has just been complemented by a group of four meerkats who recently moved into the newly built enclosure.

The meerkats, who will hopefully soon form a breeding group, will help Marta Manser and her team to better understand communication and cognition processes in the meerkat social structure; they will also form part of the research group's teaching curriculum.
